In the beginning of our second Learning Activity we took part in the conference “Challenges in working with gifted children and young people”. We got a lot of new input especially about how digital tools could help gifted children. While visiting our partner school we had an introduction on how to use 3d-printing in lessons. We even were able to create our own products and had them printed. Apart from that we learned how to use GoogleDrive as a tool for classroom management. In a meeting with Tomislav Đonlić, Head of the Department of Education, Culture, Technical Culture and Sport, County of Split-Dalmatia, we discussed the different learning environments and teaching cultures in our countries.
During our group work we exchanged experiences in our schools with digital methods and shared new ideas, apps or digital methods. We also planned the next steps in the project, e.g. how our tutorials should look like and what topics are best suited to explain how effective learning works.
Of course, we also had a cultural program: We visited the beautiful Nature Park Marjan and had a good time walking through the city and exploring the Croatian way of life.
